Raspberry Pi & Swimming

The wifi touchpad setup uses a Raspberry Pi as a WIFI access point and to host the local server, which a node.js server, if you are geeky.  Powered by a battery this gives the status   autonomous networking ability at a swimming pool.  The networking ability of the access point via the PI means data can be shared peer to peer and in real time between swimmers and the coaches.  The battery has been tested to 10 hrs of hosting the server and WIFI range to 50m.
